This week I was able to participate in the agile tour paris 2012. I was able to give 2 sessions there. The first one with Alexis Beuve, founder of Editions Praxeo, and which materialized our meeting two years ago. This session naturally focused on the Product Owner Strategy. It follows two of my humble articles (Introduction to Product Owner strategy, The Product Owner Strikes Back), but especially the about fifteen!! dense articles by Alexis on his blog.

The second session was the fourth performance of the project in which you are the agile hero.

Product Owner Strategy

Project in which you are the agile hero

In a completely different genre, I was able to, with Antoine (and a thought for Bruno), facilitate a project in which you are the agile hero. Always a great moment of pleasure and fun. We were a bit frustrated to have to finish earlier (1h45 instead of 2h), and as a result the retrospective was too quick. It will be put online however as soon as possible along with some photos. Don’t hesitate to play yourself, you have everything you need.

Quick feedback

What I liked:

  • Materializing my encounter (2 years) with Alexis
  • Seeing friends again

What I didn’t like:

  • No coffee in the morning!
  • Dangerous liaisons between sponsors and quite a few sessions
  • “Agile hero” session a bit shortened (below 2 hours we suffer).

What I learned:

  • “grand champion” is a pleonasm, “champion” is enough.
